GRANTING PARDONS AND COMMUTATION OF SENTENCES FOR CERTAIN OFFENSES RELATING TO THE EVENTS AT OR NEAR THE UNITED STATES CAPITOL ON JANUARY 6, 2021

The executive order commutes the sentences of 10 individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. These individuals were granted a time served as of January 20, 2025.

The order also grants a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to the same events. The Attorney General is tasked with administering and effectuating the issuance of certificates of pardon, ensuring that those currently held in prison are released immediately, and pursuing dismissal with prejudice for pending indictments against these individuals.
