The executive order requires the heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch to take immediate action to terminate remote work arrangements and have employees return to their duty stations on a full-time basis.
Department and agency heads are permitted to make exemptions from this requirement as they see fit, but must do so consistently with applicable law.
