Michael Boren, of Idaho, has been nominated as the new Under Secretary of Agriculture for Natural Resources and Environment, succeeding Homer L. Wilkes who resigned. Steven Bradbury, of Virginia, has been nominated as the new Deputy Secretary of Transportation, replacing Polly Ellen Trottenberg who also resigned.
Other nominations include William Briggs to be the Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration, James Danly to be the Deputy Secretary of Energy, and Kenneth Kies to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. Additionally, Paul Lawrence has been nominated as the new Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs, replacing Tanya J. Bradsher who resigned, while Katharine MacGregor will serve as the new Deputy Secretary of the Interior, succeeding Tommy P. Beaudreau who also resigned.
