President Trump has granted a pardon to Devon Archer, who was convicted of charges including conspiracy, money laundering, and violating campaign finance laws in relation to his involvement with an energy company called Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). The order states that the President has designated the Attorney General as his representative to sign the grant of clemency for Archer. The order also declares that her action is performed at the direction of the President, and it was signed by the Secretary of the Department of Justice on March 25th, 2021.
