According to President Trump’s executive order, he is committed to getting tough on repeat offenders and enhancing protection for law enforcement officials while ensuring that they can do their jobs without fear of their lives being destroyed. The order also calls for the creation of a new crime bill that will help build a safer and more secure nation for citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed. In addition, President Trump has proclaimed April 6 through April 12 as National Crime Victims’ Rights Week to honor the lives of victims and their families.
